Nas Says That Lost Tapes 2+3 Are Highly Likely
In a radio interview, Nas was asked why his hit “album”, The Lost Tapes, were never followed up. Nas responded by saying that he does have “a lot of songs that really didn’t make no album, that’s just sittin’ around [or[ got lost. So I’ve got enough actually, for a Lost Tapes 2 and 3 by now. So I’ve just got to set it up, put them together - 12 songs for one album, 12 songs for another album, and figure it out. That’s all it takes.”
Nas neither confirmed nor denied that a new Lost Tapes would come out. One thing is for certain, all the heads out there who loved “Doo Rags” and “Purple” will be keeping their fingers crossed.
